The body paragraphs form the structural core of your Task 2 essay. A weak body paragraph often fails because ideas are listed rather than fully developed. To secure a score of Band 7.0 or higher in Task Achievement, every body paragraph must present one main idea, explain its underlying logic, and provide concrete support.

The T-E-E Framework (Topic Sentence - Elaboration - Evidence/Result)

Topic Sentence (The Main Point) State the core argument clearly in the first sentence. Avoid vague claims.

Example: The primary driver behind urban overpopulation is the centralization of employment opportunities in major metropolitan areas.

Elaboration (The "Why" and "How") Unpack the logic behind your topic sentence step by step. Explain the cause-and-effect relationship.

Example: As multinational corporations and key industries concentrate their operations in commercial hubs, job opportunities expand dramatically. Consequently, individuals from rural regions migrate to cities in pursuit of higher wages and career advancement, thereby straining local resources.

Evidence / Concrete Result (Support) Provide a realistic example or logical conclusion that illustrates the point.
